Friendly staff, clean shop, good food! There's so many combinations on choices of subs. I had corned beef & brisket with provolone & mushrooms & side of deli pickles. Mmmm. Hubby had steak & cheese, lettuce & mayo. They have the fancy coke machine with so many choices of soda pop. Choices of potato chips, Cheetos, Sun Chips, etc. for... More

My wife gave me a gift card for one of my favorite sandwich shops -- Firehouse Subs. We decided to use it today. I ordered a Firehouse Club with turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was as great as always. They have one of those self-serve soft drink machines that the customer may dial up many different types. We... More

This was my first time eating here and for a sub, it was good. What I didn't like was the price. I got a medium sandwich and a water. My coworker got a medium sandwich, chips and a drink. The bill was $21. For that amount, I'll go elsewhere.

I ordered the Hook & Ladder Sub. It was loaded with mounds of ham and turkey with lettuce. tomato and cheese. In my opinion they have the best subs in Knoxville. The drink machine had almost every kind of soda available. The service was timely and the tables were clean. If you are looking for a quick meal, this is... More

Our first Firehouse Subs experience. Very good sandwiches. A lot of choices and very good service. The employees were very nice and explained the options quite well.

Stopped by to get some tailgating Subs. The older African-American lady that took my order is very charming and an asset to the business. She looked like she never stopped. Always a kind word to everyone. Subs were great and with little wait. We will be back!

My son and I ate at this location twice in one week recently! I always have the New York Steamer and my son has ham and cheese. The subs are loaded with meat. You'll never want to go to a Subway again!

Absolutely the best subs and sandwiches you've ever had. Not like the "standard", these are hearty and delicious with only the freshest ingredients used throughout.

A nice toasty sub with melty provolone, chips and a tea....bliss. They don't even mind when I get a kids meal if I want something smaller. The crew at the Western Avenue restaurant are really great.
