Been many times as I live in the community. I love the fish and the steaks are incredible. A proper old school experience with the welcome area, drink before ordering, and proper silver service waiting staff. The food is top notch, and the Desert trolley will delight...it's amazing. Priced ok, it's not cheap but also not ridiculous either. Try the... More

We had a family celebration here on Saturday night. The service was excellent although there seemed to be just the one person doing everything. There were seven of us, four more at another table and a gentleman dining alone. There was little or no atmosphere and the decor is very tired. However, the food made up for the ambience. The... I first went to the Red Bank over 30 years ago. It was the place for fine dining and special occasions. It is still nice but needs updating of menu and decor, nothing has changed in 30 years and customer expectations have. We were warmly greeted and seated in the foyer with menus and drinks. We were the only people... More

I have dined here several times on my travels to Ireland, and have never been disappointed. The approach is very special, drinks in the foyer, order taken before you sit, plenty of time to socialize and relax before sitting down to some delicious food. Great fresh fish, my favorite is the skate wing served meuniere style. Desert cart cannot be... More

We have visited this restaurant over the past 26 years for various special occasions and it never fails. The setting is charming and from the minute you enter the restaurant you feel that you are being treated. Myself and my husband choose the oysters for starters and they were beautiful, melt in your mouth. We both choose fish dishes for... More

This is a very quaint and interesting place in a seaside town with great character, the welcome and service were excellent and the rooms were comfortable, a group of us stayed and went to a party in the town, we arrived back to the place early in the morning without any fuss. Breakfast was served by a young lady with... More

Love this restaurant, have dined here quite a few times. Old style setting, pre dinner drink if u wish the food order taken in foyer / reception area. Relax and then accompanied to your table. We both chose the seafood parcel with a peanut sauce to start. It was a good size portion with plenty of prawns and sauce. For... More

Saturday night was a fabulous meal at Red Bank Restaurant. Wine selection is extensive, but the house recommendations hit the mark. My starter of three tarts blew me away- each one was better than the last. Hubby's carpaccio was one of the best we have ever tried. I followed with the duck which was so good, but only part of...
