We only stopped off for a pint but loved the place so much we stayed about 3 hours! Two of us had a nice bowl of Seafood Chowder, whilst the girls tucked into a hearty vegetable soup. The lady who served us (didn't get her name unfortunately) made us very welcome on a very wet and windy day on the... More

We found this little gem of a place by accident. We were renting a cottage down the road and just decided to call in for a pint. To be honest our expectations were not that high from the overall look of the place but once we settled in we were treated to the best Guinness I have ever had. We... More

What a gem! Called in looking for coffee, the staff were all fantastic and our coffee was made using fresh milk supplies? We were treated so well we returned for dinner which was also great. If you are travelling north from Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way don't miss the turn into Carna to enjoy this little gem!

Upon sitting down at the bar, a guy (whose wife, I believe) was one of the servers) helped us connect to the wifi and also recommended a great local beer (independence). We had dinner, I was pleased they had a lighter option in the veggie stir fry. A bit slow but we were in no hurry. Our server gave us... More

Beautiful facility. Had a late lunch on a stop driving by. Staff was very friendly. Most people in there were speaking Gaelic/Irish. Would stop again. Food tasty.

Dined here multiple times during our vacation staying in "the wilderness" by the shore, about 10 minutes from Carna. Each of our meals was fresh and delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Definitely our favorite local standard during our holiday.

We visited here on a Sunday night about 7o'clock when the place was pretty full. We initially couldn't find a table for the four of us but thankfully the hostess convinced one of the drinkers who was the sole occupant of a four person booth to move. The service was prompt and friendly and our food came reasonably quickly. My... More
