We booked early dinner to take advantage of the early bird menu but 3 out of 4 of us decided there was no reason to restrict choice unless you really want a free cup of tea. Main menu offered interesting choices such as seaweed hummus...More

We ate in the restaurant one Friday evening and the pub on the Sunday afternoon. We arrived late on Friday (9pm) and while the service was very good our fish and chips arrived a little too quickly. The cod was quite small and a bit...More

We only visited the cafe, rather than the bar/restaurant, but would recommend it. Good food, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices alone would make it worth a visit, but it has great views over the harbour. There's seating upstairs which nobody seems to know about,...More

Called in without a reserevation but they found a table for us withing 15 mins despite being full. Oysters and Lobster were excellent. Service friendly and the bill was pleasently not too high. I would return again.

The sea food chowder with herb scones - fabulous! The food and Guinness was just what was needed after a long walk around Gurteen Bay. Friendly waitress service in a genuine old pub.

Enjoyed excellent seafood at good price for the quality on offer, we ate in the bar which is small and has great atmosphere - no TV, no piped music, lovely, just a great view of the harbour!
