Dropped in here for an early family dinner to keep our Easter holidays buzz going for one evening more and had a very very pleasant meal. The kids were delighted with their pasta and goujons, and especially the wafers in the ice-creams and individual ketchup pots - small touches that make a difference. My wife and I enjoyed all our... My wife and I had a great meal here last week. We didn't have a booking but we're able to get a table. The room was very full and there was a good atmosphere in the room. The waitress was very attentive and her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were very good. The food was delicious. It was also... More

The restaurant is dark and the entrance is not obvious. The staff are friendly. The owner seemed friendly as well although a little odd. Food was great, we had pork belly and scampi. I'd recommend the pork belly in particular. Service charge was added which was fine since it was my anticipated tip.

I'm not sure how to review this restaurant, the food was fine, our server was attentive and friendly and seemed to be carrying some of the other staff, (delivering forgotten items, managing issues etc). The dining space was interesting although crowded. We didn't mind any of this as it is a Bistro (try finding lots of space in a Bistro... More

Had a late evening booking at the Hungry Monk on a very busy Saturday night recently. It was our first time there for about 10 years and our first time eating downstairs. It was heaving, with every seat full. The good i) Food was as solid as ever. Special duck starter was very good. Sirloin main was cooked rare, as... More

The restaurant's decor is excellent, and the staff are friendly - but slow. Crab cake appetizers were excellent, but monkfish was just average.

I've been coming here for years, it's probably Greystones best known restaurant. I love the old part particularly and if you can get a table near the Bar it's great! 👌 Burger is excellent and they have delicious specials daily. What's nice is on the menu it's says the Chefs names so a nice personal touch when you enjoy your... More
