Love love love this place always visit as was my grandads favourite place. Menu is modern yet original has a take away next door. Service is good and when you leave belly is well stocked up!!! Plates are big

No nonsense hearty food served promptly in comfortable (if rather dated) surroundings. Friendly service but a little too much banter for our liking!! (Understand this might appeal to others).

The restaurant is attached to the fish and chip shop. There is a large menu not just for fish. Having said that, the haddock we had was delightfully fresh and nicely cooked. There is a small choice of desert - my treacle pudding was excellent....More

If you want to experience Fish and Chips at its best that is the place to go. Not a fancy restaurant but great tasty food.

My adult son and I dined at Hectors and was warmly welcomed by the owner, Paul. Relaxed atmosphere and food was wonderful too - thanks for 'enriching' my holiday Paul, I'll be back!!
