Nice little pub with a welcoming feel to it and the food was good as well. Very friendly place in pretty much the centre of St Helier, well worth a visit especially if you are tiered of shopping.

Among all the coffee shops, wine bars, sports bars etc, it's nice to find a traditional 'British' pub. Informal and relaxing, the bar prices weren't too bad either.

We chose to eat at The Peirson as we saw on the board outside that it served food daily. We approached the bar and asked the barman if we could have a couple of menu's. He very rudely and abruptly replied "no food here tonight!" We asked why is it advertised that you are serving food daily? In the same... More

We fancied a drink whilst exploring St Helier spotted this pub so gave it a try. Staff friendly and polite. We had two lagers and decided to sit outside. Lovely sheltered area which kept chilly breeze at bay. All in all a nice clean friendly pub with usual pub fayre.

We had a very pleasant drink or two sat in Royal Square watching the world go by. The following day was not as warm so we went inside. The staff are very efficient and pleasant and were quick to clear tables. Nice ambiance too.

A traditional pub, with both inside and outside seating. Set on a square, not too much traffic noise. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. The menu was the usual standard pub food, acceptable but not to be remembered forever! It was okay, quite busy and does its job.,

The Peirson is a very friendly place and the staff are pleasant. Called in for 'a quick one' and stayed for a couple. Sheltered location keeps you out of breeze.

Traditional boozer with bar flies to match. Very historical building but not the cleanest place in the world. Had soup and a roll. Bar man went to the shop to get it apparently - as they had ran out. My guessing is that it was out of a packet.
