Dinner for 8 of us , having been recommended by local friends, was a pleasant experience but seemed to lack any "wow" factor .Service was good throughout and extensive menu- favourite choices being the Chateaubriand( very large portion) and lobster.

A recent short trip to Guernsey just had to include Pier 17 and we we're not disappointed. Good choice of food and wine, well prepared, cooked and presented. That's all there is to it but a large table of slightly noisy diners took the shine off a little but that's gonna happen in popular places.

Although Jersey based, visits to the sister island are infrequent but it is worth the trip simply to dine here. The last visit to Pier 17 was a few years ago when it was very good but in the interim it has raised the standards even higher to become a truly first class restaurant. The excellent cuisine, service and overall... More

The most beautiful seafood ever and lovely staff too. Not cheap but not dear. Felt worth the money. Would definitely go back.

We read reviews to know food here is of a good quality and location superb. We dined at Pier 17 for Sunday lunch, choosing the set menu. Our appetizer was amazing! Two crab rolls wrapped in smoked salmon and served with asparagus could have been a meal unto itself and was perfectly prepared! Our fish entree was fresh and delicious.... More

I visited this restaurant with my husband and friends. We dine here every couple of months. The food is fantastic, service great and we cannot fault it.

We had lunch there while waiting for the line for the tender back to cruise ship to get shorter. Looks like a casual, rustic place on the outside. Inside is much classier and charming but relaxed. Also have a cute outdoor patio. It was a lovely day in St. Peter Port and I wanted to sit outside, but, there is... More

This is a pricey restaurant on one of the quays. We went there because it was expensive and we wanted to dine somewhere special. First: There is a tiny bar where you can peruse the menu but it is not comfortable. You are better off going straight to the table. My first impression was that it had no atmosphere worth... More

Having eaten here several times whilst visiting Guernsey we were pleased to take friends having promised them great seafood. The food was ok - not special. The service was ok - not great. Position fantastic. Maybe we expected too much. Shame.

Thank maytrees
