We visited Squires again on yet another Devon holiday - twice in one week. I cannot praise the staff in the restaurant enough. They are so helpful. The food was excellent as usual.

We were recommended this restaurant by some colleagues and weren’t disappointed. The actual restaurant is very nice and modern and is not merely your local chippie. I ordered the cod and chips, the fish was succulent and broke apart easily but the batter was crispy....More

We were recommended this by a local and I think it was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Generous portion of fish, perfectly battered - not greasy at all, and proper tasty mushy peas. Good value and friendly service.

My wife always had cooked fish without the batter here. She is glutin and wheat intolerant but always enjoys a lovely meal here.

I also don't eat fish so I go for a 1/4 pounder cheeseburger. They taste great because the burgers are homemade and not frozen.
