We visited here last night for a meal with our 2 boys and dog. The food was delicious and everything was home cooked. The chips were amazing (not the usual rubbish frozen chips that most pubs serve up). We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! The homemade soup was also a favourite with all of us. The owner was very friendly... More

Fox Tor is a no frills cafe/ bunkhouse offering good wholesome food. It caters for walkers, cyclists, locals, dog owners in fact the whole community. It is clean and welcoming especially on a miserable Dartmoor day,but it was a gloriously sunny when we made our visit. There are plenty of outside tables a good sized car park and open 7 days a week,so... More

What else could you ask for in the middle of the moor?! A post walk coffee or hot chocolate and curly fries or just to pop in for some lunch on the way through. Can be quite tight at times with coach parties arriving but a great atmosphere and staff

Went here for Sunday lunch, wow it was packed ! Still got a table, ordered the food which was very good for a café and well priced compared to be sure. They have home made cakes including some Gluten free. Parking at the back is limited but there is plenty more in the village. The staff were very helpful.

There was a good choice of food on the menu, even a quorn dish for our vegetarian cousins. The service was fast, the food was... More
