Second visit in two months. Great food, great staff. Unfortunately due to its popularity it was extremely busy. The small tables and overcrowding meant it was less enjoyable. Also too many dogs. Dogs wagging and sniffing past the food on your table is a little off putting. I apreciate it is in the country but a separate area for dogs... More

Went here for lunch after a walk with my partner and 6 year old daughter. Can't fault the food or the venue. Decent portions, efficient service and clean everywhere. Not all the staff were friendly though. 1 particular member of staff was quite rude after barging past me. No children's menu or options but thought I'd ask for a small... More

I have lived in Plymouth a year and a bit now and me my husband and son, come here nearly every week. Food is fantastic, staff are fantastic, tables are small and more often than not you are looking for a seat, don't mind though, Sunday dinners is gorgeous too. However I have a major bone to pick with who... More

Great to visit the Brewery shop and buy some product. Pub grub was varied and hearty. Steak and Stilton pie was the favourite - tender beef, buttery pastry, melt in mouth and reasonably priced.

This was a traditional English pub with hearty food and a good atmosphere. Very dog friendly we had 3 meals hear over 2 days and enjoyed all of them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back and eat another Steak, Onion, and Mushroom baguette sandwich.

After a drink my friends and I ordered dinner. I chose lasagne which incorporated what I can only think was a stodgy dough like topping but not really sure what it was. There were some very tough areas so I assume it had been cooked and re-heated at least once. During the night I was violently sick so I'm assuming... More

We arrived here, our plan was to stay the night. So all booked in we went in for a few drinks. The place was very busy, but that was not a problem as we where not eating, staff where all very pleasant and happy to help. We had our drinks and return to our motorhome and had dinner. We went... More

We were in Princetown at lunchtime and decided to stop for lunch at the Plume of Feathers. The pub was very busy and we could only find a table in one of the side back rooms, which had too many table and difficult to get around. We had our little dog so didn't mind. We could not decide on what... More

The popularity of this pub means that booking is becoming essential at weekends, even in the depths of winter and you are staying in their accommodation, that shows just how well known it is in the area. The food is really hearty stuff , large portions and plenty of choice. The pies are especially recommended. The clientele is a mixture... More

Went there for lunch the food was very good and portion size was very generous. The ingredients tasted fresh and the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a good experience and will come back when we visit Plymouth again which we will.
