After a drink my friends and I ordered dinner. I chose lasagne which incorporated what I can only think was a stodgy dough like topping but not really sure what it was. We were in Princetown at lunchtime and decided to stop for lunch at the Plume of Feathers. The pub was very busy and we could only find a table in one of the side back rooms, which had too many table and difficult to get around. We had our little dog so didn't mind. We could not decide on what... More

The food is really hearty stuff , large portions and plenty of choice. The pies are especially recommended. The clientele is a mixture... More

Went there for lunch the food was very good and portion size was very generous. The ingredients tasted fresh and the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a good experience and will come back when we visit Plymouth again which we will.

We have just spent a weekend in Princetown and the Plume of feathers is a very welcoming local pub. They looked after us very well - even going to the nearest town for cucumber for our G&T!!! The food is lovely and they have a very varied menu with top ingredients. Lovely.

Nan and I went there without booking, we found a seat in the back of the pub as it was packed with customers. It was squashed but I did have a pram with me so that didn't help. The food was fab and it was loads, I couldn't finish it which makes a change. Nan had a small portion which... More
