Wow, what can I say except believe the other poor reviews on here because they are correct. Visited last night, 22/2/17 for a take away for the family. Being on holiday here and by the seaside we all really fancied a good fish and chip dinner. Unfortunately we were all left dissatisfied. Everything was cooked fresh on ordering which is... More

Worst fish and chip experience of my life. Frozen chips and soggy, not cooked 'fish'. I feel sorry for the poor animal.

Being one of the few places open on bank holiday Monday we decided to give it a try. Oh my word, I have never encountered such horrendous service in any restaurant. I think if the woman had cracked a smile she may just have collapsed. I stood at the counter waiting 8 minutes for someone to come out the back... More

Welcome well what welcome. I would not even feed the food to my Labrador in fact I would rather have had a bowl of his food. The mug of tea or shall I saw mug of dish water was u drinkable. Will never never ever set foot in this place again. The fish bland, greasy and no taste and no sauce... More

Visited on Monday lunchtime. I'm always a little concerned at a chip shop when the only food on display is a few sausages. No individual prices for items, only set costs of cod & chips etc. We ordered kids meal of fishcake & chips with an extra fishcake, cod & chips with curry sauce. Service was pretty awful, no smile... I visited here in the Summer with my partner. This was the only fish and chip shop open and having read the Tripadvisor reviews beforehand we were reluctant to try. However, we went against our gut feeling and decided to give it a go. We were served by a rude teenager whilst all of the other employers stood and stared... More

We popped in for a quick lunch and ordered fish and chips. We sat outside in the glorious Sunday sunshine in lovely Dawlish and watched the world and the black swans go by. Really tasty meal and they even take debit cards. Perfect 10/10

This place now seems to go by the name of 'Seabreeze', but the menus still have the 'Bailey's' name on them. Well, what can I say. If only I had read the reviews before stepping foot in this establishment. I was hungry and as this was the only place open and serving food that I was able to eat (or... More

We've sat outside in the evening sun and enjoyed a pint or two of cider whilst watching the world go by and it's great. We strayed into the fish and chip shop one day and had the worst food I can remember. Fish overcooked but the batter was sloppy, greasy taste and texture. Horrible mushy peas; the chips were the... The name has chnaged but not the food or service. Their fish & chips are fabulous and genereous portions! All served up quite quickly with a lovely mug of tea! Delicious! On a nice day this is made even better by being able to sit outside although the one down side is the coaches which pull up there now and... More
