We visited yesterday lunchtime without booking which I don't recommend but we were lucky to get a table outside to enjoy the view. The service was first class, both friendly and quick. I can honestly say the scallops are the best I have ever tasted, my other half agreed, he had the fish and chips which again we agreed it... More

Had lunch there. Had to wait because it was so busy, but it was worth the wait. The sea food was excellent and so fresh. My mussels were the best I have tasted. Excellent!

I was taken to this restaurant as a 'birthday surprise' and it certainly didn't disappoint. The table was booked by my family and, I gather, ours was one of the last available - so be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. The food was great with fresh fish (and I mean FRESH) being the main items on the... More

Ignore the pokey looking entrance & slightly ramshackle appearance. The food is great, fresh seafood plenty. Booking only for the first sitting at 12:15, otherwise it's pot luck, but worth the risk.

Took ferry over to dittisham and had a little bite to eat at the cafe. Had half portion of mussels which were in Thai sauce which was delicious. Went down a treat. Sat in the sun in March - making most of the sun being out! Really nice cafe n friendly staff.

I was in Dittisham for a lunch function and the Anchor Stone Cafe happened to have the largest dining space to cater for almost 50 to 60 people. Anyway, the food was of a wide variety and tasted good. By the way, it is a long walk from the Dittisham village centre to the Cafe which is beside the River... More

Love this place!! Coffee is great, food is scrumpy and the service is always friendly. Situated on the park so kids can have a play and the dog can have a run out too.

We ate lunch here and turned up not realising we should book. (It is worth noting that the first covers from 12 have to be booked but from there on its first come first seated). The landlord did his best to accommodate us and we enjoyed a great lunch. It was very busy due to half term but I noted... More

Warm welcome, great view, fresh fish, kids size in all meals and a new pink paint job. You have to feel sorry for the crabs. Recommend.
