Staying in the area with friends for a week visiting family living around the area, we decided to visit Combe Martin, which unfortunately really was 'closed for the season' with just two shops open. However, not to waste the trip we decided to go to...More

Having seen such positive reviews of the town we thought we must give it a go...however it was very disappointing. Probably 75% of shops and cafes were closed and it all looked pretty shabby. We noticed the Pack of Cards on the way in so...More

Beef, lamb, turkey and belly pork to choose from (or have a bit of each), then choose from a great selection of beautifully cooked veg (the dauphinois potatoes were superbly garlicky). A good range of puds for afters. Friendly staff.

Popped in a couple of nights for a couple of beers & good friendly crowd. Ate here one night & very good choice with large portions at sensible price.

What a curiosity! Find the story of the building and marvel at it. It's fascinating. Oh, and the food is great. Service was charming. Would certainly go again.
