This is a lovely 1950s themed tea room. the food is good and very reasonable, the one drawback is you never know when it will be open. I have eaten there on numerous occasions, but turned up to find it closed on almost as many times as open.

We were on a classic car rally and passed through Exford at lunchtime. The pub car park was full and there was space in the tea rooms car park so being fair we asked if they did lunch. Not only did they but their home made lasagne special was excellent. You certainly won't be bored as there is so much... More

Called into this great little place after stumbling across it during an autumn drive day out. We couldn't find any Gluten Free offerings in Lynton or Lynmouth and had given up finding anything but then saw the 'Gluten-Free available' sign outside this little place at Exford as we passed by. Very welcoming, very good quality and great value!! Can't say... More

We only found this lovely tea room in the heart of Exford on the last day of our holiday, They serve an amazing breakfast which is really good value. The cakes also look amazing. It is immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely return on our next visit to Exmoor to try the cream tea.

We had a delicious cream tea at these tea rooms, with an interesting 1950's retro feel about them. The scones were delicious, the waitress extremely attentive, offering us more cream, jam, milk and water should we need it. Also we were able to bring our spaniel into the tea rooms, which is worth remembering should the weather be a little... More

We went to visit the Bridge Tea Rooms having read the rave reviews here. We arrived early Tuesday afternoon, first week in September to find the place closed "due to coach party". We returned on the Friday morning and found a note saying it was closed from Thursday until Monday, no reason given. I then spotted that the place was... More

Stopped here by chance for morning coffee. Did not expect to find a tea rooms on Exmoor with a 50s/60s theme and staff dressed accordingly. Could have spent much longer just enjoying the memories brought back by the adverts, cuttings and other artefacts. Coffee and cakes excellent and staff very pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Lovely quaint little tea room, with parking across the road. The service was good, as was the cream tea, with a choice of one or two scones, plain or fruit, and the offer of more cream and jam if needed - can't wait to visit again.

A surprise. Decked out in 50's style furniture with American diner angle serving traditional English fare. Old fashioned teapot with strainer and hot water served in China cups. Attentive service. Generous portions. Could find no fault at all. Recommend you visit if in the area.

The Exford Bridge Tea Rooms is in the village of Exford and has the vintage nostalgia feel of the 1950s. You will enter the tea rooms and be taken back to the 50s, as it is decorated with lots of memorabilia from that era and the background music playing is also from that decade. Feel free to sing along and have a little bop if you want! The Tea Rooms offer a comprehensive menu. We serve cakes, cream teas, all day breakfasts, sandwiches, filled jacket potatoes, toasties, ploughamns and specials of the day. The tea is loose leaf and you can choose from Original, Earl Grey, Assam and Cylon. We also serve a range of coffees. The Tea Rooms also benefits from a courtyard garden, that opens out onto the village green and children's play area.
