We visited last weekend and although it was half term most of the places to eat in town closed after a certain time of stopped doing food (except the pubs) so we twice visited here. Both times, really good service and great food. We had a takeaway one night as staying locally and it was delicious. Really like it and... More

Arrived after a long drive and popped in for lunch. Very very busy and we luckily got a table as people were just going. Ordered falafel wrap and kids burger, both beautifully presented and very nice. Not the cheapest of lunch options but quality and the view is worth it.

We visited here Sunday morning after a walk along the beach with our friends and their dog to enjoy breakfast. We ordered the sailors breakfast which didn't disappoint. A pot of tea and full English. Fantastic. The place was very busy. Being able to take your dog in has a massive advantage. Definitely visit here again. I've been for a... More

Absolutely delightful cafe / restaurant overlooking the sea with Teignmouth across the water. Food very good, excellent service with happy friendly staff. It has a nice feel to it. Well worth a stop even on a cold miserable winters day. It was a welcome break on our visit.

I visited the Clipper on 2 occassions for breakfast during my short stay in Shaldon and was happy with my choice each time. The staff are a happy, helpful bunch and work good as a team. It is a busy cafe but with helpful staff as theirs it worked well.

Family run cafe/restaurant. Fabulous views, great food and lovely staff. Continuously busy and frequented by the locals - always a good sign.

Superb setting, superb location and superb food. What more can you say. The cafe was busy but managed to get a wonderful love seat overlooking the estuary.

Sitting upstairs you get a great view of the estuary and is an excellent spot to enjoy the very tasty cooked breakfasts. Service is pretty swift but it can get very busy.

Good wholesome value for money food. We visited as a group of 5. Service was prompt, attentive and welcoming. Ample portions of high quality, to much for two of our party. Would recommend a visit for anyone.
