What a great place tucked away behind the hotel. Great pizzas and service. Maybe a couple more choices of pizza toppings to give it five stars but nonetheless would highly recommend a visit.

We love coming here and they always make us feel at home. Our ASD son was struggling with the noise levels so they found us a quieter table outside. The pizza options were delicious as always, so great to have the gluten-free option and we love the range of ciders.

I spent two evenings at the outside area of The Stable while staying at The Bull Hotel and really really enjoyed it. It was highly recommended and my friends were so right! The cider menu is huge and I tried some, which were all delicious. Unfortunately, some ciders were out of stock, but that's ok as the menu is big... More

Fantastic pizzas, great toppings! There was a full vegan menu too, which is really good to see. My kids loved the garlic pizza bread, said it was the best they have ever tasted! We went in the afternoon, but they had run out of pizza dough, but they told us to call back in about an hour and they had... More

We are great fans of the Stable, especially the one in Poole. So needing some dinner before a gig we popped in here. It did not seem busy but little food seemed to be coming from the kitchen. In the end we waited 45 minutes for our food. Also no real ale was available on draft. When the food did... More

Had a meal here on Tuesday, had the Tuesday deal which was great value- a whole pizza and half a pint of cider for only £10, however the pizza wasn't very filling so ordered garlic bread too after. Service was very friendly and although they were short staffed that night the blonde young boy did exceptionally well, the atmosphere was... More

Had lunch here with family. Absolutely loved the place! Great ambiance (loved the lighting) and very good food. Staff very friendly and no problems with seating. Would very much like to visit again.

There's room for improvement. Staff messing about with each other behind the kitchen counter didn't look great and waiter picking his teeth with a cocktail stick was vile just before he put our pizzas down. Its a shame as a couple of the staff are good. Pie was really nice. Would not rush back.

Description
This is where it all began! Our first Stable restaurant, located at the back of The Bull Hotel in deepest Dorset. The story began in 2006 when Richard and Nikki took on the mammoth challenge of transforming a former 16th century coaching inn into a thriving boutique hotel. During The Hotel's revival they discovered the beautiful old stable block, which looked so far beyond repair they left it vacant for years. When Richard's brother Andy returned from his travels they came up with the idea to turn the space into a cider house, serving gourmet Dorset pizzas unlike anything else. In 2009, after a whole lot of hard graft, The Stable was born. It was a huge success and remains incredibly popular amongst locals and holidaymakers.
