Have not been here for a number of years but was pleasantly surprised, not only by the log fire but the welcome followed by a delicious meal of salmon cooked in spring roll pastry on a bed of mashed potatoes and spinach. Excellent must return...More

I have had some good meals in the Cock and Bottle but there are several aspects which let it down: the use of cheap and low quality ingredients, such as nasty oven/frozen chips (surely they don’t have to stoop this low?); tasteless out-of-a-packet catering pilau...More

Great food well cooked. Lunch was very good, possibly the best fish & chips I have ever had in a Pub Restaurant.

We have been dining here from time to time for a number of years. This time food and service was dissapointing. Duck spring rolls starter was lovely, fish and chips main course not so, batter soggy and chips reheated and overdone, not very nice. Service...More
