I had fish cakes for starters and they were the best food I have had in years of eating out. Would thoroughly recommend. Staff and owner friendly. Amazing!

We ventured in to this pub for a bite to eat and discovered an array of gins. The Service was very good, the food very tasty and reasonably priced. The bar is hugely well stocked with a selection of 10's of different gins of which...More
Just ate here for lunch and ordered from their lunchtime menu. My partner had the ham and eggs and I had the liver and onions, which at £6 and £7 respectively, I had a low expectation. Have to say that the portions were ample and...More

We have been travelling all Day and not eaten since lunch so starving and needing to sit down.Found the Red Lion Hotel on the way to our destination in Swanage.Lovely hosts, great food nice and hot.A great place to eat.
We ate here two nights running and found both the vegetable moussaka, the vegetable stack and the chilli beans very enjoyable.

We chose this as it boasted 7 vegetarian meals. But the menu was varied and imaginative. The food itself was well cooked, arrived promptly and was super value for money. The chips in particular were excellent. Service was faultless.
Very quiet the day we visited and the member of staff was nevertheless very attentive and pleasant. Good portions (ask for the small option if your appetite is not so good). Lovely food. Will return
