the white building with the red door and the roof with the name of the place just asks to be seen... and is a nice little cafe that you must not miss...

I was just passing this place at lunchtime and it seemed a good place eat. The staff were friendly but although the food was good, I had to wait quite a while as they were busy.

Kind to fit me in and admittedly a busy Sunday. Staff were pretty unsmiling and the seafood chowder was pretty unappealing- thin stock with mostly root veg and not a lot of fish. Overpriced for what it was. I won't be going back ...

Our driver took us to the Red Door Tea Room for lunch during our day trip to the Antrim Coast. It's a quaint and cosy family-run café in the countryside. Menu wasn’t extensive but everything there was so fresh and delicious. I loved their salads and their home-made apple pie. It’s a nice stop for a quick healthy lunch for... More

We stopped at the Red Door after a long trip around the CauseWay Walk. It was a welcomed lunch and our friends thought the local food was excellent. Peter thought the Irish Stew was the best he'd tasted. Many Thanks.

After a look around Ballintoy Harbour we stopped for a spot of lunch having been tempted by the sign which displayed Irish Stew and Seafood Chowder as specials. We had one of each and both agreed that the meal was fantastic, good home cooked honest food. The homemade lemon meringue pie was to die for, not a little portion either!... More

We stopped by for lunch and a spot of tea. Wound up with a very good seafood chowder and some deliciious pie.

This is a GREAT PLACE. It’s a warm, comfortable, very inviting family run pub/restaurant with a standard pub menu (except that on Saturdays they serve breakfast all day). The food is very good, the atmosphere is just so so so sweet and inviting you’ll want to return. You’ll step in and feel like a local almost immediately. We found this... More
