Be sure to make reservations in advance and bring your appetite. It is served family style and you will be seated with people you don't know. There is a hostess that explains the history of the house. Great southern food: fried okra, meatloaf, fried chicken, beans with bacon, macaroni and cheese, cooked apples, corn relish and fudge pie. So good!

Excellent food, fun hostess (theo). My gf and I enjoyed our group in crutcher dining room. Apples, meatloaf, okra, Mac and cheese were all hits, and the fudge pie was awesome also. Loved it!

Excellent food. Fried chicken was good, Fried okra was great, the rice casserole was good, the buttermilk pie was amazing. Even tho we come from North of the Mason-Dixon Line we will still call it buttermilk pie, not custard pie.

We spend a great tima with the hostes and the other customers that share the table with us. The meal was just perfect, and the whole environment was very american. It is very important to make your reservation few weeks before you go.

If you are anywhere in the area, you need to eat at Ms. Mary Bobo's! Family-style seating, about 10-12 around the table in one room. Excellent food, all you can eat!

Reservations are an absolute must!! I am not a huge fan of cooking with alcoholic beverages---but this place made it delicious. Family style eating and awesome ambiance. I would absolutely eat here again

Interesting set up. Family style so don't go if you don't like sitting with people you don't know. Food was average. Chicken was crispy. Potatoes were cold. Meatloaf was average. Mac & Cheese, biscuits and apples were tasty. Dessert was good. The hostess was a native and fun to listen to as she told of local history.

Love to go to Miss Mary Bobo's for the best lunch ever. The food is so good, especially the fried okra and apples. I have eaten here many times and never had anything I didn't like. Great setting with family style dining. Our hostess, Betty Ann was very entertaining and told us a lot of history for Miss Bobo's and... More

I have gone here several times and it's always a wonderful experience. The food is served family style and everything is delicious. The conversation you can have with strangers dining at your table has been a very entertaining feature. Reservations are a must. If you haven't toured the Jack Daniels Distillery, it's just a stone throw away.
