My wife and I - along with our dog - stopped in for a cup of coffee and something sweet after walking around Balgavies Loch. The service was friendly, the coffee good and hot, and our treat were delicious. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

I was visiting an elderly relative in Letham with my wife five grandchildren and my daughter-in -law when we decided to go for a snack lunch at Trumperton. The very friendly staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and the snack lunch was very acceptable for the wide range of ages in the party.

Great for savoury and sweet eats. LOVE the coronation chicken and their cakes are as wonderful as they look. The second hand books are always worth a browse too, and the playground and animals outside make it the perfect setting for a refreshing stop in the beautiful Scottish countryside. A great find!

We passed by the roadside sign for this small Tearoom, saying it was open between 12 noon to 5 pm. As it was lunchtime we entered this quaint stone building, which had suitable access for the disabled, and were lucky to get a table as it was very busy. The menu had a large selection of sandwiches, toasties, paninis, cakes... More

SO glad it's that time of year again when this delightful tearoom reopens for the season. Lovely homemade soup (a choice of three!), with bread, followed by coffee and cake- delicious! Not satisfied with that- also bought free range eggs ( you have to be careful not to run over the hens!) and a bag of homemade tablet. Every time... More

Outside space has a variety of hens with cute chicks and friendly miniature horses and ponies. Friendly welcome and excellent polite service from young staff. From snacks to homemade soup to cakes, all delicious and very reasonably priced. An idea place for a... More

On a spur of the moment, after a run up to Forfar, we decided to go to Trumperton for a snack lunch. We were given the option of sitting inside or outside on the patio. We chose inside, and were immediately informed of the soups available. I decided to have Cock-a Leekie soup along with a ham and onion toastie. My... More

Excellent selection of cakes, very reasonably priced served by nice, polite waitresses. The sandwiches and panini looked very nice. The tearoom was very nicely decorated with a welcoming feel. What else is to be said? Go see for yourself. Would recommend.
