Stopped for lunch during an overnight stay on Arran. A set and standard lunch menu was available. We opted for 2 dishes from their standard lunch menu. Service was efficient and friendly. Food quality was very good, but we both felt a little pricey for...More

We had a delicious meal. Booked table for 5.30pm so took advantage of the early deal of £18 for 2 courses. Portions generous and good very tasty. Would definitely visit again and I recommend when visiting Arran.

We found this restaurant after a search as it was not signposted as many others in the area were. It was worth the search. A Monday evening proved to be quite busy but we had booked a table so we were seated straight away after...More

Three of us dined here for lunch and enjoyed every meal. Tomato, chorizo and mixed bean soup combo with a ham and gherkin toastie, spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread, and a ham and mushroom omelette with salad and chips. Sounds plain, looked great, tasted divine....More

Haddock and chips with garden peas instead of salad. Very tasty. Not greasy at all. Bread with oils to start. Puddings were lovely. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff who knew their menu. Good service. Reasonable prices.

we ate here on the Saturday and were lucky to get a table as we had not booked and the place was extremely busy. Service was very good, the venison was excellent and the IPA was tasty.

Once again we were not disappointed by the food or the atmosphere. This is a busy bustling bar and brasserie which offers consistently good food. It is popular with local residents and regular visitors and that speaks for itself. We think it is the best...More

I have no idea what dishes would be nut free, but the staff are very helpful and I am sure they could put your mind at ease with a few suggestions.
