This a great wee pub with a proper open fire serving a good section of beers, gins & whiskies. The food is decent too, it's typical pub food but its well done pub food.

A beautiful relaxed lunch next to a roaring fire on a cold day. Excellent selection offood and drinks and the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend here over anywhere else in Fort Augustus.

This is a very popular local pub. The atmosphere is lively and friendly. The food is fairly simple, typical pub food, very good, only comment would be that portions are amazing, need a good apettite to finish.Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The curry was unexpectedly delicious, we finished the sauce completely! The mac & cheese was good too. Very comfortable setting; we enjoyed our lunch.

Simple basic food served well done and with a smile and nice beer. Worth a stop for lunch! We liked it and our daughter was well looked after.

I only know this pub from a summer visit when it was mega busy. Parking is an issue as there are only about 6 spaces on the narrow one way street outside the pub. There is a pay and display public car park in the village... More
