We ate here twice during our stay. Amazing food and service. The pub downstairs was great for meeting locals. Everyone has a dog in this town so you become friends quick with folks. We had the fish and chips (haddock) and fish at night. Awesome! And great value!

We shared a seafood platter which was huge & very tasty. The puddings were good as well. Restaurant is small & you need to book in advance

The day we came the restaurant wasnt full but the staff seemed very flustered. We had steak and the special seafood stew. Both were nice but not quite nice enough to warrant the hefty prices. The stew was enormous and could really have fed two - perhaps that could be noted somewhere?

Called in on spec for lunch. It was a busy Sunday afternoon. We stood at the bar for a few minutes looking at the menu, asked if we could order there and were told yes. As we waited to be served (or seen) a lady who appeared to be going round with jugs of mile and he odd knife and... More

Stopped for cuppa and ended up having full lunch! Great location and food excellent. Bar area welcoming with cosy fire to sit around. Upstiars dining area looks great. We had lunch and it was great food. Teenagers had plenty of choice - local seafood dishes great. Staff welcoming - worthy of a detour.

Set in a sleepy little village at the head of Loch Sheildaig. Only visited here, as in the Winter season, the Torridon Inn is only open at weekends. This turned out to be a nice piece of fortune, as the cosy bar area was perfect for a post Mountain recharge. Great seafood on offer, and other options like the Steak,... More

After hours of walking, climbing, and driving on single-track roads full of sheep, this was the perfect end to my day up in Wester Ross. Attentive and friendly staff looked after me as well when I was the first customer for dinner as when I was joined by twenty other guests. I had the steak as their pizzas were off... More

Popped in for a cuppa, on the way to Lochinver with my son. Great tea. The scone was probably the best I've ever tasted. To our surprise the bar filled up very quickly, it was the middle of winter. the food looked fantastic, and there was a fine selection of beers. Will make a point of going back.

This is a great little pub and restaurant. We've been several times in the peak of the summer season and in the depths of winter. We've never had a bad experience. They have a great selection of beers including some top Scottish news as well as the usual stuff you might find anywhere else. The menu is great and the... More
