My Mum and I are here for the first time yesterday. Normally we have gone past and the queue has been out the door, and haven't able to eat from there yet! We ordered breaded haddock suppers and they were so fresh, large portions, and the breadcrumbs were delicious. Friendly staff too - will be back! Thanks again!

If you go to the end of the Harbour Road through what looks like an industrial estate there's this gem of a chippy and oyster bar! We originally wanted to dine in but they are now on winter opening times. As we were hungry, dining in the car was our only option! We went for Cod and Chips with a... More

Best fish n chips on the planet. And I travel down to Ayrshire 35 miles for them regularly that's some drive for fast food lol but worth it. Wish they would open closer to home but til then will just have to drive down . Like going on light nights or daytime to watch the seals in the harbour. Watch... More

Being from the coast myself I'm a bit of a fish and chip snob. This is the best I've found on the west coast (though anstruther probably is still number 1 for me in Scotland). despite the recession the misto was still delicious with fish cooked perfectly and a portion of chips so big we couldn't finish them. My mother... More

This has been our go-to place when we visit Ayrshire for years, and we've always told visiting friends to go. Sadly this time we were disappointed. There were no scallops or scampi, two of our favourites. The king prawn tempura was good but my haddock was over cooked. Our chips were horrid, I'm not sure why they tasted so bad.... More
