This has become one of my favourite restaurants. Every dish is always very tasty and is served on a nice hot plate. I always have the Cajun chicken and my husband always enjoys the trio of meats.

Had another fab meal again here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Food is tremendous, especially the homemade steak pie! Good service and good atmosphere.

Visited the Minishant for the 2nd time this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food with friendly, efficient service. My mum especially enjoyed the 'DIY Eton Mess' which the chef presented as a build-your-own dessert with a selection of ice cream, cream, meringue and strawberries,...More

We really enjoyed the food and had a lovely waitress serve us. We'd also highly recommend the Kirkmichael Arms - their food was amazing and well worth a visit.

Had delicious lunch there once again. Only had time for one course and steak burger with bacon did not disappoint. Moist, full of flavour and plenty of it. Chips ok. Service was very attentive. Will be back

Fabulous little restaurant with great choices . Food never disappoints and fairly priced. Always busy and only small so worth booking ahead . Not much else needs saying other than if you haven't tried it then give it a go.

Must be one os Scotland best restaurants. Food is consistently superb. Family owned and son is the Chef. Never had a disappointing meal here in all the years we have been going.

Now eaten there twice with family who live nearby. Fantastic food, steak and the Cullen skink particularly good. Happily return again, would recommend a visit!

Had an evening meal here while on holiday in the area. Very welcoming and great traditional food. Well worth a visit. On the main road so parking outside may be an issue. We were lucky to get a space.
