We visited the Three Chimneys at the end of January. Had an excellent meal from the a la carte menu with the addition of some beautiful oysters. Couldn't fault it. The restaurant itself is fairly small - I think about six tables - and well designed. The service was excellent. All of the staff were friendly but very well informed.... More

We were recommended The Three Chimneys and they didn't disappoint. A warm welcome and friendly service throughout our visit. The food is stunning. We had the 8 course tasting menu. Each course was unique in flavours and beautifully presented. Exquisite! Thank you.

Visited the Three Chimney's last Saturday for the tasting menu and it was an absolute delight! We were a group of 4 and had a cocktail in the lounge before dinner which was beautiful, little snacks that had us looking forward to the main event was a welcome bonus. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none,... More

All of Team Three Chimneys are really enjoying this new season and our brand new kitchen. The whole experience was perfect, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and chatty. I felt that they couldn't do enough for us. We arrived 30 minutes before our table was booked (as advised). We had some gorgeous nibbles and a couple of drinks, all of which were very tasty and well presented. We opted for the taster menu at £90pp. We... More

A bit disappointed , the food was good liked the winkles the Turbot a bit small, told that the marmalade sponge was famous and ended up with a small bit of sponge and custard that just seamed normal.should have had the bitter chocolate.

The home itself is welcoming and cozy. The service is second to none. And the food was spectacular. I mentioned we were celebrating my wife's birthday when making the reservation online and they sent over dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate. The only negative I can think of is that we only booked for one night. If I... More

Cosy, inviting, relaxing, about as far from feeling like a hotel as you can possibly imagine, full of friends who just want to make you comfortable, bake for you, cook for you, give wine advice, serve you and advise you on how to get the best out of your... I stayed at The Three Chimmneys for a 3 night winter break and absolutely fell in love with the Isle of Skye and of course The Three Chimmeys! Thankyou so much of this feedback. Team Three Chimneys have enthusiastically kick-started their year with a fresh approach to their Front-of-House service, all delivered from a state-of-the-art new kitchen. The idea is to build on the combination of formal technique but the friendly atmosphere we already have, but make things even more relaxed and spontaneous. We have new service protocols... More

One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The food was outstanding and the service was of the highest standard with very knowledgeable professional and friendly staff. We had the three course set menu. It was a taste sensation and we tried foods we had never eaten before. I would love to go back.

The Three Chimneys is famous for specialising in the freshest local produce including wonderful seafood from the immediate coastal waters. the restaurant has been owned by husband and wife, Eddie and Shirley Spear, for 30 years. The couple bought the traditional stone-walled croft house in 1984 and developed the business into what it is today, with an amazing worldwide reputation. The Three chimneys has won countless awards and accolades, not least a Michelin star in 2104. Head Chef, Scott Davies and his Brigade of young chefs are passionate about preparing and cooking the finest ingredients available. Innovative dishes and exciting taste combinations are served by a professional young crew front-of-house, who pride themselves in delivering skilful. but friendly and welcoming service at all times. there is an excellent Wine List and cocktails and other bar beverages, including a good range of malt whisky, are served in the Lounge in the evenings to both house guests and restaurant customers alike.
