Fantastic, beautiful location. Great place to go and see the Highland games. Gorgeous decor. Great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. View of the Highland Gathering right outside! 100 yards from where the queen sits.

It's a family run business and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The food is great - local, fresh and very well cooked. There was no problem with gluten free. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Also great view of the games ground from...More

Visited for my wife's birthday on 22 June 2018. Simple but varied menus, offering seasonal dishes all subject to local availability and sourcing. Cosy little bar for craft beers and bar snacks. Restaurant is not over done but remains very good ambiance overlooking the gardens...More

Outstanding find in Braemar. Venison pate, duck spring rolls, wild boar burger and seared duck breast -- outstanding food in a B&B/boutique hotel. Limited dinner seatings, about 20 per night so only 4-5 diners per seating. Why? Because the B&B and restaurant are run by...More

I completed a review in October, all positive, and glad to say the food enhanced the experience this time. Fresh cooked and you can tell, we had the T bone steak and fish, along with starters and pudding, all perfect could not ask for more....More

We walked to this property from the village where we had read that they served food until 7.45pm. We arrived and got a seat in the bar area and immediately asked for the menu so that we could order right away. We were told they...More

I'm afraid this is a totally one sided and inaccurate account of your visit to our hotel/restaurant, you were not REFUSED anything, we could not accommodate you as we were FULL. Had you read the sign properly that you clearly followed from the village directly...More

Booked this hotel in advance, as we were a group of 3 playing golf. A great spot over looking the venue for the Breamar Gathering. Upon arrival we were informed that there were no evening meals on Sunday, but our host said he would happily...More

Description
We are a Small family run hotel/pub & restaurant on the ouskirts of Braemar overlooking the famous Braemar Gathering arena. Our hotel is situated directly behind Her Majesty the Queens Royal Box on the games park. Our restaurant offers a good range of locally sourced meat, fish & game which is all cooked fresh to order. We only provide a small restaurant service with limited covers served so booking is highly recommended and essential during peak season (April - September) We have a single restaurant menu but meals can be eaten in the restaurant or bar area depending on your choice. We also allow dogs in to the bar to cater for people who want to ring their dogs in. We have a well stocked bar with a log burner for those cold winter nights and we are proud to be CAMRA registered with 4 ever changing Scottish real ales on tap, we also have over 125 Single malt Whisky's and an ever growing Gin collection. Finally we have a large decked beer garden over looking the countryside around
