Passing through Kirriemuir we needed to find a suitable coffee stop - and the cakes were too tempting not to indulge. Really nice and friendly place.

We had breakfast at Granny Annie Mays on the Saturday Morning and although they do not do a full breakfast the grilled bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious along with the tea and toast. They also have a nice gift shop.

This is a good place to have a coffee. The staff are very friendly. The scones are the best in Kirriemuir. It is a bit dark inside, but that enhances the charm of the place.
