Very poor WiFi coverage in this are of Scotland so headed to The Oystercatchers pub as it advertises free WiFi. Arrived to find place closed and no WiFi. Another boat anchored to and were also very disappointed.

Quality fare (fresh and locally-sourced produce) Interesting cut-above menu all cooked and presented by folks who care. Home-made cake and decent coffee. A warm and cheery welcome by attentive staff.

We happened across this lovely Inn having failed to find anywhere else open. What a find! First of all we were delighted as our dog was welcomed and it was cosy with a log burner at one find and an open fire at the other. Then came the food which was delicious best fish and chips ever. Light batter soft... More

Food fell way below average. Starter for two but no plates provided. Dry bread served also. Temperature of the starter varied between each muscle and I decided not to continue eating. By the time I was half way through the fish and chips I'd chosen for my main meal ; which had a thick dark batter on the fish which... More

We visited this restaurant for lunch and were disappointed. I had looked at the sample menu online before we set off and it looked interesting but when we arrived the menu was quite limited and the prices appeared to have jumped for the few comparable items and overall were very expensive. It was very busy, just immediately before Easter but... More

Arrived on a Sunday at 7.15 by boat, hoping to have a good meal as on previous occasions, closely followed by another boats crew. We went to the bar for a drink, which was served with a smile, we asked for these drinks to be added to our food bill only to be told that the kitchen closed at 7,... More

The restaurant is a really nice and cosy place far from everything, right next to the see on the east bank of Loch Fyne. The service was really nice, I was there visiting with some of the locals of Tighnabruaich, and they recommended that i have the Fish and chips and it was excellent, they had just like any other... Visited here with friends on a bright chilly day & received a warm welcome by the toasty fireside. The location here is exceptional & our lunches did not disappoint. Good selection at the bar & if ur dog wants a drink there's a bowl too (& a biscuit) For lunch 2 of us had burgers, one veggie & our other... More

We had such a warm welcome on our visit today. We had our 3 year old and baby with us and they were also made to feel so welcome. Great selection of beer/gin/other drinks. Menu selection was quite slim but it is November so we'd expect that. And I'd rather see that than think they were wasting ingredients. Fish and... More
