Well worth the travel to this remote location. This bar/restaurant is a hidden gem. Great seafood menu, but other choices are available and all are of a very standard. On a sunny day the view across Loch Fyne is exceptional.

Its a long journey from Hunter's Quay ferry but well worth it, around 22 miles one way via the B836. The other route is shorter and slower, nearly all single track. The setting is terrific and especially so when the sun is shining but its...More

There for lunch -so 4 meals and drinks and coffees ordered and asked for an additional portion of bread. 2 slices cost an additional £2.50. When already paid almost approx £80.00+. Not likely to return. Food ranged from lovely to OK

We stopped here for lunch, there were over 40 in our party but they copped admirably. The scenes are superb and we did not mind the short wait. The fish is extremely good and highly recommended.

A very warm welcome awaited us at The Oystercatcher. All the staff were helpful, understanding and professional. We were quickly shown to our table and a drinks order was taken. The room was stylish with a mix-match of seats. I do think benches are not...More

We had a delicious lunch here. The pub was warm and friendly, the staff were very efficient and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a whole crab and hake with seasonal vegetables at a cosy table by the fire.

They claim to be dog friendly but don't really mean it. Our dog was good as gold all through meal and barked once when we were waiting for dessert. The owner was extremely rude and aggressive. I wouldn't inflict this place... More
