Took 2 teas to carry out and drink in the car. Extortionate for a cup of hot water, paper cup and tea bag. Not doing a return visit. Will take flask next time.

Well as the owner perhaps you should address the many comments left by visitors- i.e improve your service. Not only have you received many negative reviews, many appear to pinpoint certain members of staff- yourself included. afterall, the whole point of tripadvisor and other similar forums is for an overall experience to be reviewed. The public has a right to give their feedback. I have given feedback many times in the past on the service I receive- up until now said feedback has always been positive. There is nothing nice about having to write a poor review, believe me, I would much rather be writing a positive one. In fact, in the past I have actually had satisfactory service from other members of Kidstons staff, therefore encouraging my return. My review has none of the 'malice' you talk about. In actual fact the only malice I can think of is the malice which was inflicted on me. And one crucial fact I would like to highlight- I was told directly from the owner that " a lot of people seem to come into Kidstons with attitude problems"..............do I really need to say anymore??? Surely you must realise that any negative commentary is not out of customer malice or for the sake of it as they have nothing else to do with their time- it is because you are letting yourself, your staff and Kidstons down by not providing good service to all customers.
