Warm and welcoming food looked great and we will be back to try the menu. Located right on the loch with ample parking and dog friendly.

Stayed here on Saturday just gone and was very happy with my room, staff and setting. We had dinner in the bar as we had two dogs with us and have to say that the food was lovely View from car park of the loch

A welcome visit for a quick bite of lunch at The Clachan next to the shore of Loch Earn. It was good to be back at Lochearnhead and although the weather forecast wasn't encouraging, the reality was much better than the MetOffice predicted. This is a welcoming place, with cheerful service and more than decent, delicious food. The walls inside... More

Food was great and fresh, the fish was good my only complaint was the chips could have had a couple of more minutes cooking but that's personal choice, my wife had the duck and it was great.

I only called and used the restaurant, but the mussels dish I had was very tasty and with two nice wedges of bread to soak up the nice juices the mussels were cooked in.

We had a lovely meal on our first night in the area. The portions are not the largest but the chef did deliver on quality. Friendly staff made this a fine way to start our break in the trossachs.

Although the menu was not extensive the food was excellent. It ranged from basic to exotic but obviously prepared with skill and dedication. Good value for money too with reasonably priced wine and an extensive selection of Malt Whisky's. George Guy

I'm always surprised that this place is still in business, but presumably the lack of many other alternatives locally and the lochside location are the explanation. Some of the staff could scarcely be less welcoming if they tried, and the prices are high but are unfortunately rarely matched by the quality. It is a shame, because the location is beautiful...
