When you get to BB King's on the corner of Beale St. you still have to look around for the hidden stairs that goes up to this restaurant. Once inside the atmosphere is very posh and the food is great! We had the jambalaya pasta...More

If you didn't know it was there you would probably miss it altogether. And that would be a terrible shame. This is one of the best kept secrets in all of Memphis! Finding it is half the fun. The food is amazing and the variety...More

I think people don't realize this restaurant is present and it does have a speakeasy feel that requires entering the touristy street side bar (or fire escape like steps on the back of the building by the parking garage) and going through an unmarked side...More

This was our second visit to Itta Bena. The atmosphere is lovely and elegant without being snooty. The hostess and server were very polite and friendly, and had honored my request for a table by the window. There is always good music here, soft piano...More

Nothing revolutionary but the food is good and well presented. The service was friendly too. With the blue-tainted windows, we enjoyed a quiet moment on a very lively street.

The surroundings are overall quite tired inside and the entry which is under a rather grubby blue walkway at the side of BB Kings is a fire escape up the back of the building - this is not very clearly named and certainly could have...More

I am pretty sure we saw children there on at least one trip. You can go up the side entrance and never have to go thru the club.
