This was a Birthday dinner for my 18 year old daughter. We were looking for a new experience, atmosphere, and good food. We found all 3! Love the art work! Three of us have multiple food allergies.... the chef reworked several dishes for us like it was very normal. Wonderful evening out!

We were there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was surprisingly quiet. We had sandwiches which were ok, nothing that was memorable. The atmosphere was fine and the location was great. I would give it another chance because of that.

They have moved to Main St. Much nicer interior. Food is very good. Lunch is really a good buy. Vegetables are great. Never overcooked. Service has been good too. Their chicken pot pie is made with a top of puff pastry so is crispy, not soggy. Fish is very good as well.

The food here is amazing and the service even better. I had the famous pot pie and the blueberry bread pudding and it was out of this world!!! Just PS they only serve the pot pie for dinner so make sure you come when they serve it. I lucked out and met the owner who was gracious enough to make... More

This restaurant is fantastic and very accomodating to those with food allergies. I have an alpha-gal allergy, meaning that I need to stay away from everything mammalian (no red meat, no cream, no butter, the works). I often get frustrated when dining out and feel like an inconvenience. For this reason, I usually struggle with finding something I can eat... More

We saw this restaurant on diners drive-ins and dives and when we decided we were going to visit Memphis made it a point to have dinner there. It was a great meal with the excellent chorizo meat loaf as one of our choices and meeting the owner Michael Patrick. A great choice for dinner if you are in Memphis.

OMG- this is my favorite restaurant in the whole of Memphis, this is the second time I have eaten here (thanks to Downtown Dining week-happening until November 13-so make sure to take advantage)!! Let's start with the appetizer, appropriately named Lobster Pronto Pup, instead of a hot dog, take a nice chunk of lobster meat dipped in the Pronto flour... More

I needed a place to eat lunch while visiting the museum. This restaurant was only a block away. I got seated immediately, the waiter (Chris) was very personable and provided excellent service. I had the veggie po-boy which was very flavorful and the delectable, warm brownie pie. This was a great spot for lunch. Highly recommend it.

The food is excellent. You must try the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken pot pie with the flaky crust is absolutely award winning. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The bartender, Tabitha, is on top of her game. She is friendly and pays attention to her customers. The owner, Michael Patrick, must be commended. Risso's is the best.
