Friends and I often meet here for lunch. It so much better than traditional lunch places--the menu is varied, I haven't had a soup that disappoints and the service is usually good.

I love going to Bronte's for weekend breakfast/brunch! Their pancakes with fruit are outstanding--light pancakes with berries and bananas that make adding syrup merely an option. The Creme brule French toast and Denver Omelet are superb as well. Try to get a seat at the window or better yet sit outside if the weather permits. If you get there before... More

A good restaurant in a book store! A nice but limited variety of offerings. I live here and go regularly. Always reliable, pleasant servers, good food with interesting combinations of comfort food. I recommend it. The value pricing is moderate and appropriate. It is worth seeking out to have a comfortable, good meal. Easy to find on a main artery... More

I would hardly qualify this as a "French Bistro". It is a casual eaterie inside a book store. It is more than a snack bar and more like a small restaurant. The atmosphere is a bit noisy and the tables are close together. The ambiance has alot of windows, sunshine and there is a small outside patio. The food is... More

We ate here for the first time and could not believe we'd never tried it during our 20 years living here. This is a super place for moderately priced but excellent food. the choices are limited but solid selections. The beer and wine options are good; the chicken picatta truly a delight. The menu describes it as the Barefoot Contessa's... More

This place is such a little gem. I've enjoyed several nice evening meals there with my mom and sister, perfect for a girl's night, and attached right to a great bookstore for post-prandial browsing. GREAT food and consistently good selection of wines. Once, when my birthday fell on a weekday and my musician-husband was working that night......it made the PERFECT... More

We've only eaten here once, but the food and service were both very good! You're actually connected to a book store, so the entrance was not where I thought it would be. :-) But the dining area is surrounded by glass so you can see outside from most any seat.

I have been coming into this bookstore and restaurant since I moved up here in 1997 and I have always liked their selection of good , healthy eats. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here! Good place to meet friends for a healthy, quick or leisurely bite and do some shopping afterwards.

First time--(could not find the menu online for this particular Bronte A Novel Bistro online, so I am working from the memory of this evenings meal.) Starter: Hummus with pita and cucumber/tomato relish (salsa, however you want to call it) and greens. The hummus is very mild, but this was a delicious and economical starter. I will definitely be enjoying... More
