Great place to go after visit to Stax. Totally unpretentious to look at, but smiling, helpful service and authentic food. Our group of four had baked catfish, neckbone, catfish rolls, and sides like pinto beans, potato salad, smothered cabbage, etc some peach cobbler, all very tasty. And all for barely $50! It's not haute cuisine, but it's genuine service and... More

The food was great and the service was normal. The food did take some time but I'm not complaining about that or the food. My bill should have been $26 for the whole family. I added a tip and didn't get my receipt cause I was too busy signing the guestbook. When I looked on my credit card bill, I... More

Went to the Four Way after a fabulous visit at Stax Museum. I had the baked catfish, turnip greens, and black-eyed peas. Delicious hearty portions. My husband had the yams. He almost came up short they're sooo good. The waitress was on point as was the other team members. The parking lot is small and can be a little tricky.

Amazing food and great staff. Location seems not great, but during the day it's great for lunch! Get the country fried steak or catfish. Soooooooo good!

The service was good and the prices were reasonable. We tried the mac and cheese, yams, cornbread, pork chops, turkey and dressing, and cabbage. All of these items were good.

A Stax museum told us about this place - it's the only thing nearby. It didn't look impressive from the outside, but it was really great once we got in - clean and spacious with great service. I had a hamburger which was at least 1/4 inch thick and tasted real. My wife had 2 hot dogs (all beef, great... More

Went there for Sunday Dinner. It has been around for decades and many famous people from Dr. King to Elvis have eaten there. There place is large and clean. Service was great. The food was very good and the turnip greens were the best I ever had. Very welcoming atmosphere. It is in the middle of "Soulville" and off the... More

Back in January I took a road trip with a friend to see important sites in civil rights history. That's when I learned of the Four Way, where Dr. King and his colleagues would eat and make plans when he was in town. We didn't have enough time in Memphis back in January, so when I came back with other... More
