This is a great location downtown with a large and simple menu. You can eat in or carry out. I think this is the freshest fish in Memphis. Boiled/steamed shrimp is some of the best I've had...large and tender. Very low-key, so no need to...More

This restaurant has a lot of character and like most Memphis restaurants serves most entrees fried. The food and atmosphere are most excellent. You wait in line to order and pick your order up when your buzzer lights up. A fun and interesting place.

This is a fun place to look at - walls covered with 'adopted' Big Mouth Billy Basses in all sorts of outfits. The set up is very casual - you order at the counter, collect a buzzer and pick up your food when it's ready....More

We had the Cobb salad, very crisp lettuce with great blue cheese, avocado, bacon, egg and an avocado dressing. Brats and sauerkraut were great and reminded me of Germany with that spicy mustard, and the chicken wings were good, crispy on outside. Oh and the...More

Found this great restaurant whilst walking to the Peabody Hotel from our hotel. This place is directly facing the Peabody. From the outside looks like a 'transport cafe ' but don't be deceived, it serves some of the best, fresh fish I have had. You...More

This is a casual place with great fried seafood, especially catfish. If you're looking for something more upscale, this probably isn't your place, but it was great fuel after a long day for our weary group. They also had a pretty good beer selection, which...More

Just finished having a great lunch ar this location. The Mrs had grilled rainbow trout with veggies and I had the combo shrimp/catfish plate. Both were excellant. I just regret not taking a picture before we ate. Note, there is inexpensive parking all around the...More

Been to so many Memphis restaurants and this is such a great lunch spot. By myself, I would probably eat lunch here everyday! Superb!

I didn't expect to prefer seafood over BBQ in Memphis, but Flying Fish makes some incredible seafood. Everything I tried was delicious, and their southern sides are awesome! The grilled squash and zucchini was definitely my favorite. Also, the service was awesome.
