This was our virgin experience of eating seafood gumbo.....interesting and quite addictive! We really enjoyed our salmon dish and to a lesser extent the trout but all in all good value for money.

Four of us went for an early supper. Fish trophies everywhere, whimsical signs, funny t-shirts; it's a fun place. Informal. Blues playing overhead not too loud. Nice setting to have an informal meal. I ordered a catfish po'boy; it was served with lettuce and tomato,...More

Was excited to have a chance to eat crawfish. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good lunch. No flavor in the crawfish at all. Waste of $60.

Strolling through downtown Memphis & ran into this place. Stood in line for a late lunch, ordering at the counter, while deciding from a large menu that hung on wall above. Decided on the Shrimp Po Boy, and waited about 10 minutes before number called....More

We tried the mudbugs, shrimp, tacos and lobster soup. Everything was great. Right across the street from The Peabody.

For a place with it in its name I was truly impressed with the quality of the seafood during mid week. Man was it good. From the catfish to the shrimp and the fried oysters to the fried okra everything on my plate was delicious!

We loved this place it was really different. Loads of choice. We had the fish tacos, calamari and the grilled shrimp salad. Totally delicious. An absolute must experience when visiting Memphis.

Ordered the jambalaya. Mostly rice. And green peppers in abundance of sauce. Jambalaya only had 5 pieces of sausage and 3 small shrimp. When brought to the attention of management response was sorry and he walked away back to cash register. Tasty but disappointing.

In all honesty, we just popped in to get something relatively fast. Only to find, reasonable prices, friendly service, best fish tacos, great kid’s food, good jambalaya, delicious hush puppies, and good beans and rice. Seriously, we stayed at the Peabody, ate all over Memphis...More
