Positioned near the main car parking in Aberaeron and within walking distance of the whole town, this restaurant offers affordable food at great quality. The views over the harbour are pleasant and the staff are polite. Would definitely return.

Staff friendly and efficient. Large choice on menu, definitely not just fish and chips. Food was good, large portions tasty and great value.

My party of 4 were only in town for a couple of hours, one of which we spent in this really really good restaurant. 3 Cod and Chips and 1 Plaice and Chips were demolished, accompanied by various alcoholic and non alcoholic liwuid refershment. Outstanding...More

1st visit and not disappointed. Had the fish and chips 1 Plaice & 1 cod. Batter lovely and crispy fish was amazing as we're the mushy peas. Disappointed in the chips could have been more golden and crispy. Overall a very enjoyable meal .

Just had a weeks holiday in the Aberaeron area. As a result we came across the Celtic Fish & Chip bar. We didn't eat in the restaurant but from the takeaway chip bar. I can safely say that their fare was some of the best,...More

Very easy summary, chips were fabulous, love open bag presentation, hot, crispy on outside, fluffy within. Fish excellent, sausage a bit of a let down. The ubiquitous catering sausage...aka profit maker! Good chip shops should have more self respect! Service was quick and friendly, price...More

It's such a rare occasion that I get to eat fish and chips due to my coeliac disease so this was perfect. The staff were friendly and offered to grill the fish and surprisingly I was told that the majority of their fryers were gluten...More

Have sampled the fish and chips in the restaurant and also as a takeaway. They never fail to impress. It is freshly cooked to order and it always tastes better when at the coast. The desserts don't look half bad either. Well worth a try...More

What a bargain. This quality is way beyond the price they ask. Had sea bass with home made chips and a tasty salad. Enjoyed every mouthful.

We can grill you a cod, that is without the batter. Chips are cooked in separate fryers to the fish. If you make the staff aware that you have a gluten intolerance then they will try and assist. Thank you

We had to walk up steps to get in, and a few more steps into the seating area that we used - although there were other places to sit which were on the ground floor level. Things were fairly tightly packed, and I don't... More
