Here with a few friends for a meal and a few drinks after looking round the castle. Good friendly service, food was excellent and reasonably priced. We are now sat in the beer garden and really like the smell of freshly cut grass. So nice for the children to play up here rather than be stuck in a pub

Called on with family of ten for quick Pint and headed for the signposted beer garden, OMG it's a dump, about 300 empty glasses on a piece of derelict ground so instead went inside for a drink, league of gentlemen sprung to mind it was an absolute dive and the barman was even better, after he walked out on serving... The only pub once you have climbed the hill. Small selection of real ale. Owners are new so in the midst of refurb in and out which is in need. Friendly staff and good food.

Popped into Harlech on a Thursday evening for some food - ok so this wasn't my first choice but it was open and had chips. Really friendly guy behind the bar and although not busy the food was scrummy. Yes it was chips and sausage, chips and scampi etc but it was really good. Drinks and food for 4 of... More

After a hard days golf where better to go that for real beer. A very friendly pub, where we wished we had chosen to eat at. We had a thirst after the walk up the very steep hill from the golf club, but its much easier on the way down !!!

We visited here as everywhere else doesnt seem to be open past 5pm. Its a small welcoming, homely, friendly pub. It has several choice of good real ales. The food was fantastic they have a good selection and for only £7.95. If you are looking for a good home cooked meal and don't want to pay an arm and a leg... More
