My wife and I visited this restaurant on the 19th April 2017. The food is exceptional in every way, presentation, quality and flavour. There were so many dishes we would have liked to have sampled on the menu, but what we chose were delicious. I must be honest, from viewing the restaurant externally, I would have driven past as it... More

Didn't know what to expect as never been here before, but we were staying locally for the weekend. There were four of us and we shared dim sum and duck type spring rolls - delicious. Main we had fried sea bass in a tamarind sauce, my hubby and I had gado gado one with chicken and one with prawns, excellent!... More

We regularly visit Coconut Kitchen when in Abersoch and had a family meal here in April during the Easter holidays. We love the fact that our favourite meals are always on the menu and the thai curries and desserts were 10/10 again last week particularly because all the veg tastes so fresh.

Having heard good reports about the Coconut Kitchen we were eager to try and it certainly lived up to expectations. We both had a delicious and authentic Thai meal and the service was excellent.

Staying in Rhiw for a short break on 17th March, it would have been rude not to have visited the Coconut Kitchen seeing as it was so nearby. Although eating on my own, I wasn't made to feel awkward and as always the food was amazing. I had the Penang curry (minus the king prawns on my request). Amazing Thai... More

I visited the Coconut Kitchen in March 2017, and I have to say I was impressed. Simply superb, adventurous food. All too often these days, you find the same mundane choice of food on the menu, it's as though restaurants have lost their sense of adventure and most seem play it safe with the same, or very similar, mundane offerings..... Came to the coconut kitchen back in November for a last minute break in Abersoch before the season closure. It was our first visit although we are Abersoch regulars and enjoyed the food very much. Portion sizes were great (we had to take a doggy bag home) and everything tasted so fresh. Absolute great value for money

Delicious! Often fully booked but they also do take-aways so go for it. Sit in or a take-way, the food is top notch!

The Coconut Kitchen, located in the village of Abersoch in Wales, is renowned for its fresh, aromatic Thai cuisine. The dining room at The Coconut Kitchen - decorated with Oriental lamps and dark wooden furniture overlooks the harbour and has a warm, intimate vibe perfect for cosy dining, and the restaurant is a popular place for dates, nights out with friends and dinner parties. We love the innovative menu, and popular dishes include the char-grilled coriander sirloin steak with a garlic and chilli sauce served with stir-fried greens and sweet potato crisps; the King Prawn Panang Curry cooked in a creamy red curry sauce with lime leaves and Thai sweet basil; and the delicious lemongrass and ginger crme brulee.
