We were staying at one of the self catering cottages and booked here for the Saturday evening ahead of our arrival. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was fab. We enjoyed it so much we ate there again on Sunday evening. On the Saturday evening ordered starters but the mains are big so we didn't really... More

We had eaten the previous night at the Hotel Portmeirion, which was amazing, and as others have said this doesn't quite have that same wow on the food factor, although it still was an excellent tasty dinner. The soup and scallops starters were fantastic. The fish & chips was fabulous, as was my wife's rib-eye steak, although the peppercorn sauce... More

Polite service, lovely food, reasonable price. Lovely large windows add to experience as lovely view of beach. Only one minor feedback, we asked to both sit at window to see the gorgeous view of sands, and politely ushered to table for two. As there were only two other people it seemed rather petty as we could have both enjoyed view. No tables were... More

This is a more relaxed setting than the hotel but still very smart. The food is superb and the staff are very friendly and professional. We had a look at some of the bedrooms and they are first class so we would definitely stay here.

Drove from Manchester to have lunch in the castle. We hadn't booked but that wasn't a problem. We were greeted at the door and shown to some comfy chairs. We had a drink and ordered our lunch. We only wanted a sandwich but had 3 courses as the menu was very good. Can't fault any of it. Had delicious coffee... More

To call this a Brasserie is something of an understatement; to us it appeared to be a first class restaurant. The food, the service and the setting were excellent, and our experience was enhanced by an exellent pianist.
