Ate here whilst staying in a cottage in the village..Really lovely, eaten in what people claimed to be great restaurants before and been disappointed....Not here...The food was great, the service just right, the wine - well why not...Thoroughly recommend this restaurant....

This was one of the best meals I have eaten this year. Everything from our welcome right through the evening was so well done, so professional. The food was lovely, innovative and interesting, the service was great and the staff were so attentive.

We dined at this restaurant at a visit something like 20 years ago and loved it then. We came back in July, 2017 only to find it is even better than we remembered it. We stayed in the village through the hotel and used the...More

I had sea trout with laverbread mash and black garlic. In my top few meals ever. Service was very good, surroundings magnificent. I regret not having room for a pudding.

Yes. Please ask at the toll. You can also make more of the day by hiring a buggy for a VIP 45 min tour of the village for £20. It fits up to 5 people so you could split cost with others.

Hi no you don't have to be a hotel guest to book and eat in the restaurant. It's a short walk downhill from the entrance and car park to the hotel/restaurant. Great Sunday roasts!
