Took my daughter to the Loft last Friday night, I was nervous after the last visit but there was no need to be, the service was attentive and the food was back to the the high standard you expected from the Bull's Head. The beetroot soup and guinea fowl were delicious. So pleased, back to being my favourite restaurant and... More

We dined here in December and last night with four friends. We ate a variety of the dishes but were all impressed with the quality and tastiness.Especially the starters of local scallops and smoked mallard breast and the main courses of venison with dauphinois gratin and guinea fowl. The Chef is really to be congratulated for a thoughtful choice of four... More

We decided to go to 'The Loft' the serious dining part of The Bull, for our Wedding Anniversary. This lovely old building is close to the castle in Beaumaris and retains much of its ancient atmosphere dating back to about the 15 th century. ( I think!) One can stay here, have a drink in the Bar,enjoy a meal in the Brasserie... More

We stayed at the hotel in the Betsy Trotwood room for my wifes 30th Birthday and went to the brasserie for dinner. The staff were really polite and welcoming and then there is the food, My wife and I both had the Steak for mains and can honestly say it was the nicest and most perfectly cooked steak we have... Went here on the off chance, to my amazement to find out they don't do reservations so it's a turn up and if there's a table free it's yours which was great. My wife who is a vegetarian and awkward to cater was massively impressed whilst I stuck plain with a steak which was cooked to perfection. Lovely layout and... More

We visit Anglesey fairly regularly for a walking break. You have 2 choices for accommodation- the main building or the adjacent Townhouse. We've only ever stayed in the Townhouse, Silver room. The room is very large with a separate sitting area, large and comfy bed and big bathroom. All nicely done, modern style and very quiet. Breakfast is OK rather... More

We went to the Brasserie for an early evening meal at 7pm. Lovely welcome from friendly staff, helped me choose from the Gin menu, had Rhubarb Gin with ginger ale and it was lovely. We shared some breads with olive oil and the Aubergine dip with huge tortillas, both tasty and moorish. We are both vegetarian and there was plenty... More

The upstairs fine dining is awesome. Some lovely surprises during the meal...some courses not expected!! Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Bit posh and the other customers talk in whispers...but if thats what you like, you will not be disappointed!! Once again the food is awesome.

My favourite Beaumaris pub, especially on a bank holiday Monday when there's live music for you to sing a long. Friendly welcoming staff
