I first visited many years ago and was impressed, visited twice this month and the standard hasnt dropped at all. The lamb scotch egg is simply amazing (along with the rest of the food), wine selection fab, views over the bay gorgeous and staff so welcoming. I'll be back again and again. One change I'd like to see - it... More

We have visited this pub restaurant twice recently. On the first occasion the service was excellent and so were the specials e.g. beautiful local lobster and a brilliant Madras curry. It was a Friday. When we visited on a Saturday, the noise from the local drinkers was deafening. We couldn't hold a conversation because of all the shouting and loud... More

Came for the first time yesterday in glorious sunshine - loved the interior as much as the lovely roast and an amazingly delicious apricot and white chocolate creme brulee. Friendly competent staff, lovely choice of food and - you can go for a walk at the beach afterwards, which is beautiful, too. Perfect location - will be back :)

I have been coming to the area for holidays for almost 50 years and .I always come here since the present owners have been running it. The food is very good pub grub and I recommend the sea food dishes, cod, sea bass and Menai mussels all are excellent. The pub is in a most beautiful setting, near the beach... More

Often go to this restaurant when in the area, the service and food is always great. Views brilliant and love the touch of blankets to sit outside on a chilly day to enjoy them. Who seems the Owner/Manager is very helpful and upon asking for a taxi number a member of staff took it upon herself to call 3 local... More

We travelled across the island from Amlwch. The roads to the White Eagle are very narrow and vehicles that have been left in gateways block the roads until they move them.Tried to get into the car park but someone in a red 4 wheel drive had left it in the entrance so no one could get in or out.Bad management to... Stunning location, with great views across the water towards the mountains. Food also very good. I had the excellent Rhoscolyn salt marsh lamb scotch egg as a light bite at lunch. Beer selection and quality also very good. Food service was friendly and efficient although some of the team members are a little amateurish, with one of them forgetting what... More

We always come here when visiting my husbands sister and it has been our favourite place since it opened. The array of fish dishes and the quality of the fish always excellent However on this occasion we were a bit disappointed with the menu and the lack of fish options. We both thought the menu was not as extensive. We... More
