Love this pub and the village setting. Nice roaring fires, superb food and great service and a nice pint to boot. Very cosy with themed nights for foodies, on a Thursday it is Curry night, all 4 curry choices are really good and served with Rice, Chips, Naan, Popadums and chutney all for £6.50 or add any drink for an... Terry was immensely accommodating for our lunch, especially when the numbers kept changing and he already had a big lunch coming after us. A perfect beef bourginone and so understanding about the wine. Many thanks for making our day that bit easier.

The food was excellent, steak cooked as requested, which does not always happen in different establishments, but here it was done to a turn. My only issue was the ambiance, the pub side is very cosy and welcoming, but the dining room could do with a dimmer... More

We stopped here for dinner on one of their Friday night Steak offers. The pub sits in a really tranquil spot in the hamlet of Llanelidan and offers real ale and great value home cooked pub food. The steaks were lovely, well presented and very tasty. The burger 100% pure beef and topped with bacon and cheese was spot on... More

The Leyland Arms is one of the few remaining true country pubs with a real country pub attitude. The Leyland Arms exists primarily to keep the local community together and to provide a social center for those within Llanelidan.A warm welcome also awaits anyone who wishes to visit us and experience our hospitality whether on holiday or working on business. The Leyland Arms occupies a prime position in the picturesque village of Llanelidan, and has always provided a warm and re-assuring feeling of welcome for over several hundred years. The Church of Saint Elidan is a building of both historical and architectural interest, it shares pride of place with the beautiful church of Saint Elidan adjacent to the village hall; which was previously the school. Overlooking the village cricket pitch, the Clwydian Mountain Range in the background affords the pub a natural source of shelter. The entrance to the Leyland Arms is through the courtyard behind the main building. Once inside the building the ceiling beams and wood burning fire provide a complementary setting for the small, well stocked, bar.The food is both great quality and good value. The items on the concise but varied menu are all prepared and cooked on the premises by the landlord, Steve Nicolopulo, to excellent standards. All produce is sourced from local suppliers wherever possible and served up in portion sizes not for the faint hearted. If you have a special requirement or want to book an event then please contact us and we will do our best to cater for your requirements. The Leyland Arms also provides up to 3 rooms should you wish to make yourself at home in the village for longer than a quick drink or meal. The accommodation consists of a double room, which boasts an en suite and spacious relaxation area, a twin room and a single room. For more details on our accommodation please visit the 'rooms' link. All of our room rates include a full breakfast.
