Just walking through the village and stumbled across this little gem! From first glance looks like a card and gift shop. But within is a secret of a wonderful cafe through the archway and stunning garden seating. The lady who was running it was so welcoming and friendly, showed us all around. I would recommend this for all to go.

Haven't been in here for ages. Nothing has changed. You enter the cafe, off the road at the top end of Ruthin, via the shop. My husband had a baked potato with prawns in a cocktail sauce which he enjoyed. I opted for the vegetable soup which came with a bread roll . The soup was piping hot, probably a... More

Have been going here on and off for 20+ years It hasn't changed at all in that time It is a traditional welsh cafe, selling mushrooms on toast, baked potatoes and similar lunches and light meals Most of the customers are older welsh women who are guaranteed to make a fuss of any small child brought in.... On my last... More

A delightful historic building in the centre of Ruthin where you can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. Friendly efficient service and excellent home baking. I recommend the honey flapjack and scone with jam and cream.

Lovely outside seating area at the back, good choice of reasonable priced meals, and friendly staff. My prawns were fresh, my husbands scampi was nicely cooked and tasted good. Desserts was smashing. Toilet clean.

What a great place to come to. Took my little one there recently and considering how hyperactive she is- the staff took us being there in their stride. The food was excellent and their attentiveness to detail blew me away. Before my daughters fork even hit the floor they were over with a new fork and were picking the old... More

Paid a second visit to this Cafe and found it had been refurbished and improved but the food was even better than last time with a very varied menu all at reasonable prices. The staff are really friendly and attentive and we had the traditional English Breakfast which was of good quality and it comes with really thick toast nice... More
