Chips tasted like they were cooked more than once and it's ridiculously expensive for the poor standard you get.

We were on our way back from a long day at Aberystwyth University open day and were hungry and stopped here in the restaurant part. Portion sizes were huge and the fish and chips were fantastic.

Drove over an hour to visit this fish and chip shop. So disappointed, poor service, oily batter, indigestible chips, no fork for the fish or napkins. The actual fish was beautiful, but everything else was poor. Paid £8.65 for 1 large fish, 1 jumbo sausage and a large chips.

This is the best Fish and Chip restraint I have ever been too. If you are anywhere near Lampeter make a point of calling in you will love it if you love Fish and Chips. The cod bites are also fantastic, with great service in a traditional but very clean restraint.

Parking is a problem. Fish and chips is great. They do small portions for OAP which is brilliant for my mum. Service is quick for takeaway or sit down food.

I visited this award winning establishment again on 21 January for a take-away and was served with a good size portion of freshly cooked chips. This is a popular take-away and restaurant and was recently awarded a Top 10 place in the Independent Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year Awards. Well done and congratulations to all the team at... Haven't been for a while but last time I paid a fortune for a small chips that contained and 10 chips that were undercooked. They try and mis lead you with their awards but I've cooked better chips at 4 in the morning after a night out. One positive is the menu is very large and has a bit of... More

Was told it was an award winning fish and chip shop. Asked for three haddocks and chips and although it said an 8 minute wait it took 20 minutes to arrive. The fish was almost un-edible, being dry and tasteless and the chips were not much better

Still living off its old award reputation, but portions are unacceptably small as an adult serving.Live locally but won't get caught again.
