The food was ok, nothing special and service was ok, but nothing special. I was a little off put by the fish in the tanks, they certainly didn't look extremely healthy.

Came here many years ago and the Dim sum as well as a la carte menu especially sea food was very good This time we had early lunch for Dim sum . The skin or wrapping was hard and not chewy . Disappointing experience . I suspect there may be change of ownership .

This is our first time at the restaurant. The dim sum here is average, on the salty side. But we had a very unpleasant experience with various wait staff at the restaurant, which was barely half full when we walked in at 1 pm for lunch The first wait staff, who looked rather senior, was sarcastic when we ordered chrysanthemum... had yum cha for 4,Prices were not advertised. We had an average number of dishes.Expecting the bill to be around $100,we were shocked to find it was $177.The dishes were tasty but not exceptional.Patrons should check the prices of individual dishes as they add up steeply and to avoid a nasty shock at the end.

I recently spent 11 days in NSW visiting from NZ and went to Sea Treasure for Sunday Yum Cha. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The service was ok and the decor a little tired but the food wasn't enjoyable at all. The dishes presented weren't fresh and were mostly fried food, not what you'd expect at... More

First impression at the entry was that it looked tacky and wasn't expecting a lot. From the moment I got in there, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We had the mixed fried entree, spring rolls, prawn dumplings and chicken & cashew, Mongolian lamb, battered king prawns. Every aspect of the meal was full of flavour, high quality and... More

Is it just me or is Yum Cha a good hangover cure!? In any event, this bustling restaurant provides a nice carb loaded antidote to last night's excesses. Great dumplings, pork and chive and scallop being my pick. Good bbq pork and a steady procession of other tempting options. Reasonable value unless you plump for the seafood options.

Had the pleasure recently of taking two people who had never been to yum Cha here an watching their astonishment at the steady stream of delicious food! Each time, this restaurant provides ultra fresh delicious food, sensibly priced drinks, delicious green tea and pleasant kind staff. Get in there if you like Chinese and even with a queue at very... We have been dining at Sea Treasure on and off for 20 years but sadly it has declined to a point that we won't be back. Whilst our yum Cha experience wasn't terrible there are far better options for a fraction of the price. Some dishes were great ie calamari and mango pancakes but the spring rolls were over done... I've defended Sea Treasure's reputation in he last year or so when friends report that 'it's not as good as it was before they sold it'. Not sure I can do that anymore Their Yum Cha - 3 weekends in a row, has dropped its trousers. All the steamed dumplings are ALWAYS overcooked to the the point where the light... More
