South Indian is our preferred region for India quisines. We visited on recommendation and were not disappointed. We were there for lunch and had the lunch special as recommended with a couple of extra entree's. Crispy Barramundi was great. The Masala Dosa's and accompaniments were excellent and the three dishes with the main perfect for our taste. The rice perfect.... More

Have been here seversl times over the last few years. The quality of the food is really excellent. The dosai is recommended but it's large. I advise the mini dosai if you want to sample the other delights on offer. Two set price banquets on offer with generous portions. Staff are polite and efficient. If you like South Indian Cuisine,... One of the worst experiences of recent times. Horrible Indian food and bad service. No consideration of customer comments and feedback.

Malabar is usually the first restaurant we return to each time we are in Sydney. Excellent menu in a nice setting. Portions are good and we typically end up taking food home the enjoy for lunch.

This is a lovely restaurant with upstairs and downstairs seating. The service is quick and efficient. We had the Malabar banquet which provides multiple courses. The waiter informed us that they no longer offered the limitless mains, which didn't worry us as we hadn't expected it, but would be worth knowing for people returning. The food was promptly brought and... More

Favourite for takeaway, the food is fresh, chicken tender and gracious polite service. Recommend the chicken chettinad.

You can always expect and receive excellent food and service at this Crows Nest favourite. It seems like it's been here for a long time. Good fresh curries with plenty of flavour.

Four of us visited on Saturday night 14 Jan. Service, ambience good and food really tasty and very well presented. Brother in law requested a very 'hot' curry and they catered for his choice. Food portions generous but not 'in your face'. Very tasty food at a reasonable price plus brilliant option of bring your own wine and pay corkage... More

We came to your restaurant tonight and were very disappointed as we had rang and booked a high chair and when we got there we were told that because it's busy we can't have one and was offered a booster seat which is not the same!! The guy in the front desk (not sure if he's the owner or whatever, doesn't make a difference) was not very apologetic about the whole situation and just rudely explained that it's busy tonight and that they only have two chairs. I'm sorry but that's not my problem and I was not told at time of booking. So we had to leave which ruined our whole night as you can imagine we had a 2 year old and it's not easy to just wander around looking for another place to eat. And even when we walked out the guy at the front desk didn't seem to care, such bad customer service!! You might get a lot of people coming in but you have to remember if people have a bad experience they may not return and word of mouth spreads fast. We actually came last Sunday as well and again we had booked a high chair and when we arrived there were none available but we waited and was told we will get one soon and there was a nice waiter who sincerely apologised and made it worth the wait, much better than the treatment we got tonight!!!!!!! We didn't want to argue as it was late already.

When are you expecting to get more high chairs so this doesn't happen again??? And can you please advise families who require high chairs at the time of booking that it's subject to availability so they are not made to wait. And maybe try and be more apologetic when you are not able to provide your customers with their requirements, instead of making them feel like it was their fault!!!

I look forward to a reply. We came this weekend because we had a good time last weekend but from what happened tonight I don't know!!!!!
